Chicken fired rice - restaurant style





Chicken fried rice is many of our favourite dish which is made of cooked rice , finely chopped vegetables , fried chicken and egg . 

All the yummy ingredients like egg , vegetables , chicken makes the recipe special for everyone . That too the marinated chicken fry in the fried rice makes the fried rice much more delicious .

 Ingredients :

  • Chicken - 650 g
  • Basmati rice - 1 cup
  • Carrot - 1 or 2 
  • Beans - 10 
  • Cabbage - half a cabbage
  • Spring onions 
  • Egg - 2
  • Chilli sauce 
  • Soya sauce 
  • Pepper 
  • Salt 
  • Oil 
  • Chilli powder

Method of preparation :

  • Clean the chicken and cut them into small pieces .
( Remember the chicken should be boneless ) 
  • Before getting into the process of fried rice cooking , marinate the chicken so that you can cook rice meanwhile . 
  • For chicken marination only chilli powder and salt is needed . 
  • So add one tablespoon of chilli powder and salt ( or according to your taste ) and marinate this for 20 minutes . 
  • After this start cooking the rice . Soak 1 cup of basmati rice for 30 minutes before you get into the cooking . 
  • In a boiling water add the 1 tablespoon of oil . 
( Oil is to makes rice non sticky ) 
  • Then , add soaked basmati rice and wait till it cooks 90% . It appropriately takes 7-8 minutes . 
  • Then , filter the water from the rice and transfer it into the paper towel to dry it completely . 
( Dont over cook the rice then fried rice get spoil )
  • In a cooking pot heat 2 tablespoon of oil and add 2 eggs to that . 
  • Saute it well by adding salt and pepper half a teaspoon . 
  • Stir it continuously , till it gets scrambled .
  • After 5 minutes transfer the egg into a separate bowl . 
( Do it in a medium flame ) 
  • In a wok add oil to fry the chicken . Add the marinated pieces of chicken in the oil and fry deeply . 
  • Transfer it into the another bowl . 
  •  In the pan add 3 tablespoon of oil and add chopped carrots , beans and sliced cabbage in that and cook it well . 
( The vegetables to chopped and sliced finely )
  • Then , add 1 tablespoon of chilli sauce and half a tablespoon of soya sauce and salt to your taste . 
  • Cook for 5 minutes and then add the fired chicken and egg . 
  • Finally , add spring onions and pepper to it . 
( Adding pepper finally gives you a good taste ) 

Health tips

Chicken is rich in protein content and also contain vitamin B12 . Though it is healthy to consume , it too have some effects because of over consuming . So , try 3 servings per week which won't cause any health issues .
